Our Fall semester started in September. We meet each Tuesday evening to learn, rehearse and enjoy the company of fellow musicians.  Donna, our newest director Phil Crotto and our percussion specialist, Cece, thoroughly enjoy working with these amazing people to share our musical knowledge.

Our next semester will start on with an informational meeting in early September 2017 at the synagogue. Come find out about the program and try out some instruments. Please call or email for more info on joining us in September. In the meantime, come on out and listen to our spring concert on Tuesday, April 4 at 7:30pm at the synagogue. Introduce yourself to Donna!

Have You Always Wanted To Be In A Band????

Here's your chance!

The Monadnock New Horizons Band(MNHB) started in the Fall 2014 in Keene, NH and it's an  band program for adults. You can pick up that instrument you haven't touched in decades or pick up an instrument that you've never played and learn how to play. In a few months, you and your new found band friends will play a concert for your family and friends.

Donna Morse decided to start a New Horizons band in the Monadnock region while attending a New Horizons band camp in August 2013 sponsored by a MA based New Horizons band. The motivation and talent of all the musicians at camp was inspiring. Thinking it would be a great group for the Keene area, she came home and started the process of forming a local band.

Rehearsals/classes will be twice a week for a fall semester and spring semester at Congregation Ahavis Achim in Keene.

Why should I join the Monadnock New Horizons Band????

    - we will teach you to play music at your pace
    - you will meet new friends
    - you will perform for family & friends
    - you will keep your mind sharp

More Reasons...

    - playing an instrument is cool!
    - music feeds the soul!
    - it will be loads of fun!
